What more is there to say?????
Our really huge reach goal was 1000 dresses. Did we really think we could do it? Who knew?! It was such an alarming goal it seemed like it just might be possible.
The picture tells part of the tale.
This is the group that was still hanging in there at 8 p.
m. on Saturday night, the 20th of January.
As I look back over the list of those who had a part in this I find that over 180 businesses and community members had some part in this event, from providing food to cutting fabric, ironing, sewing, packing, and more! You could just feel the energy and excitement in the room as all of those hands were working away to reach a common goal. There was so much joy in seeing friends you don’t get to see as often as you like, as well as meeting and making new friends!
